Turquoise Yachts’ 87-metre Project VENTO represents a major milestone for Türkiye’s superyacht industry. With an approximate volume of 2,500 GT, a 13.2-metre beam and design by H2 Yacht Design, VENTO is set to become the largest motor yacht ever built by Turquoise Yachts and the shipyard’s new flagship.

The project combines large internal volume, contemporary exterior styling and extensive lifestyle areas designed to compete with yachts exceeding 100 metres.
A New Flagship for Turquoise Yachts
At 87 metres in overall length, VENTO will become the flagship of Turquoise Yachts.
The yacht has a beam of 13.2 metres and an approximate gross tonnage of 2,500 GT. Both the exterior and interior design were developed by H2 Yacht Design, while the naval architecture was completed in-house by Turquoise Yachts. (turquoiseyachts.com)
VENTO also represents the ninth new-build collaboration between Turquoise Yachts and H2 Yacht Design, continuing a professional relationship spanning more than 17 years.
Her exterior profile combines a classic bow, flowing lines, angled ventilation grilles and a distinctive dark-blue hull. The yacht’s proportions are designed to create a strong and immediately recognisable presence on the water.
Beach Club Comparable to 100-Metre Yachts
One of VENTO’s most prominent features is the drive-in tender dock connected directly to an expansive beach club.
According to Turquoise Yachts, the beach club is comparable in scale to those typically found on yachts measuring more than 100 metres. Above this space is a 6.5-metre glass-sided swimming pool, complemented by large skylights integrated into the main deck. (turquoiseyachts.com)
This arrangement creates a strong visual and physical connection between the yacht’s interior spaces, swimming platform and surrounding sea.
The design reflects a broader shift in modern superyacht construction, where beach clubs are no longer secondary technical areas but central lifestyle spaces.
Helipad, Basketball Court and Outdoor Cinema
VENTO’s forward deck includes a touch-and-go helipad that can also be used as a basketball court.
The yacht’s sundeck is planned with informal seating areas, an outdoor cinema, a large bar and a dedicated cooking space. Forward sun pads and an additional pool further expand the range of outdoor leisure areas available to guests. (turquoiseyachts.com)
Rather than dedicating each deck to a single function, the design creates multiple environments for entertainment, privacy, relaxation and social activity.
Private Owner’s Deck
Guest accommodation is positioned on the main deck, while the owner is provided with a dedicated private area on the deck above.
At the centre of the yacht is an open spiral staircase connecting the decks. A skylight above the staircase allows natural light to penetrate deep into the interior, becoming one of the defining architectural elements of the project. (turquoiseyachts.com)
This arrangement separates the owner’s private living spaces from the principal guest areas while maintaining a coherent flow throughout the yacht.
Built Between Kocaeli and Istanbul
VENTO’s steel and aluminium construction began at Turquoise Yachts’ Kocaeli facility.
The hull was subsequently transferred using the shipyard’s floating dock to its Pendik facility in Istanbul for interior installation, outfitting and final paint work. (turquoiseyachts.com)
Turquoise Yachts operates its two facilities as part of an integrated construction system. Heavy steel, aluminium, machinery and piping work are primarily completed in Kocaeli, while yachts are moved to Istanbul for final outfitting and completion.

Turkish Superyacht Construction Reaches a New Scale
VENTO is significant not only because of its dimensions, but also because of the engineering, project management and specialist production capabilities required to build a yacht of this scale.
